Join us in supporting the courageous wives of fallen IDF soldiers.
Pronunciation: Le-vee-ah
Incredible women have been taking on the challenges of balancing work and life while their husbands defend our nation. Despite the emotional and logistical difficulties, they rise to the occasion with the strength and grace of a lioness.
But what happens when their husbands don’t come home?
These women may break – yet they get up again. Beneath their courage lies a painful reality. They will forever carry the mantle of a lioness.
We provide personalized support to the wives of fallen IDF soldiers by listening first. What sets us apart, and what our widows tell us matters most, is that we ask what they want and do not take a one-size-fits-all approach. By responding thoughtfully to each widow’s needs, we offer meaningful support during an incredibly difficult time.
The War of Iron Swords officially ended, but these women will be widows forever. We developed a long-term support program for these courageous widows and their children. These families paid the ultimate price in a time of national peril; our part is to stand by them when they need us.
Widows tell us Shabbat is the hardest day. Our intimate Shabbat gatherings provide gourmet meals, childcare, and beautiful accommodations so widows and their children can rest, connect, and simply be together.
Every month we send carefully curated Hug Packages filled with comforting, pampering, and seasonal items to remind widows they are not forgotten. These packages bring joy and, most importantly, let them know that as an organization, we are still here for them.
Our retreats bring widows together for rest and renewal through spa experiences and creative workshops. Connecting with others who understand is a powerful part of healing.
Each widow carries a story of love, loss, and bravery. These messages of gratitude come directly from widows supported by the Widows of Warriors project, sharing what it has meant to be heard and cared for.
“You are part of my and Aryeh’s family forever. Every delivery you send moves me time and again. You never forget us, and you have been with us through such a long journey. I have no words to express what you mean to us. Thank you, thank you, thank you for everything. It is truly not taken for granted. You are simply a light in our world. I wish you a peaceful, quiet, and blessed Shabbat, and may God repay you for all the goodness you give. Amen, amen, amen. Love you all very much.”
“Honestly, every single day I ask myself, ‘Why did this hardship come to me?’ And just a moment later, I ask myself, ‘What did I do right to deserve being surrounded by people with such big hearts?’”
“You made my day, my week, my month! It’s so moving to see that someone remembers me every single month. (Someone knocks on my door… and gives me something!) And every month, you surprise me again, and move me even more.
You warmed my heart – thank you so much, kol hakavod!”
“I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for always thinking of us and surprising us time and time again. What a gift it was to wake up to such a beautiful surprise!
Mazal Tov to sweet Ella on your Bat Mitzvah! I hope this Tzaddeket knows just how many smiles she has brought to women who are truly going through difficult times.”
